Are you looking for additional information about our Dance Studio? Here you’ll find a list of our most common questions. If you can’t find the answer you’re looking for, let us know and we’ll get back to you shortly.
Do I need previous experience?
If yon are looking for classes classified as intermediate, fundamental, advanced to semi and professionals levels, yes you will need. We advise that you take a good look on the levels of the classes before attending them. In case of doubting please do not hesitate in contacting us we will be glad to help you out.
What do I need to bring?
Comfortable clothes and dance shoes. If there are any extra material required for a certain type of class, the teacher will contact the students previously.
How many students are in each class?
Because we like to provide personal assistance to all our students we keep our groups on a maximum of 26 students per class. If we reach the maximum we open a waiting list.
Where are the classes held?
SUPER EASY ACCESSIBILITY
AND FREE PARKING!
Our location is excellently accessible both by public transport and by car. There is ample parking space right outside the door.
Coming by car?
Surprisingly, our location is also very easy to reach by car. From the highway, you’ll quickly find yourself on Klaprozenweg until you see Karwei and Kwantum on your right (the furniture boulevard). You can park there for 1.5 hours for free.
Free parking on the street in front of and alongside the studio every day from 7:00 PM.
(Until 7:00 PM, it’s €1.60 per hour).
Coming by public transport?
That’s fantastic and super easy!
From Amsterdam Central Station:
Take metro 52 to Noorderpark, then bus 35 towards Molenwijk, get off at Mosveld and walk approximately 200m
or one stop further at Floraweg stop and then walk back approximately 200m, total travel time approximately 15 minutes
Take bus 391 or 391 towards Zaandam, get off at Mosveld or one stop further at Floraweg stop, total travel time approximately 15 minutes
Additionally, at the intersection of Floraweg/Klaprozenweg, there are buses 36 to Sloterdijk/Station Noord and 38 to Buiksloterham/Station Noord.
There’s also a ferry to IJplein, then a 10-minute bike ride
and from KNSM island to Zamenhofstraat, also a 10-minute bike ride.
Coming by two wheels?
By bike via CS ferry to Buiksloterweg approximately 10 minutes (2.5km)
via Pontsteiger ferry to NDSM approximately 6 minutes (1.7km)
For your information: From NDSM, it’s slightly shorter, but that ferry runs much less frequently in the evenings.
You can easily park your bike on the street in front of and next to the studio. Make sure to lock it securely and take the battery out to bring it with you. You can also easily and safely park your motorbike or scooter.
How much it cost the classes ?
Do you have classes for beginners? Do I need a partner?
Every 12 weeks we start a new absolute beginners course. For this class you don't need to have a partner.
